5 out of 5 stars The BEST Nursing Bra Ever - and I've tried them all!!!   June 2, 2008

I'm currently nursing my third child. So, by this point, I've been breastfeeding for over six years. I need a rather hard-to-fit size (normal rib/band but very large cups) and had nearly given up on ever finding something that fit AND provided the support I wanted... The idea that I might also find a bra that gave great shape seemed an impossible dream.

But this bra delivers!

It provides enough support that I actually wear it to the gym and while taking the kids out in the jogging stroller.

It's so comfortable that I actually wear it all day and forget that I'm wearing underwire.

My breasts actually look great in it. My clothes hang properly and I feel much prettier.

And speaking of pretty - this is the prettiest nursing bra I've ever worn. I've bought other high end pretty nursing bras (Ly Mystere's Florence, for one), but this is better designed and better made. Even the hooks on the back and the cup clips are just a cut above any others I've used. The straps are wide enough to be comfortable, but don't have that industrial foundation garment look that wider straps often assume. I can actually wear this with my tank tops and V and scoop neck shirts.

As if all that wasn't enough, the actual nursing functionality is fabulous. The clips are easy to operate with one hand and the cups drop easily so you don't have to fumble or adjust to get the bra out of the way before baby latches on (those of you who try some of the Goddess and Medela super-support styles know what I mean!). The ribbon loop "handles" and the bead to keep track of which side you last nursed on are details that I don't need, but I probably would have appreciated those features when I was trying to figure out the nursing relationship with my first child.

Yes, this bra is pricier than many others out there, but it's worth every penny. Buy this one first instead of wasting your money experimenting with cheaper ones. You'll save in the long run and feel better about how you look. I don't have a lot of extra money lying around (I have three kids after all!), but I just signed on to Amazon to buy two more of these bras so I thought I'd take the time to review it for all you nursing mamas out there who are agonizing over finding the right bra.

One last bit of advice - If in doubt on the band size, I'd suggest going smaller on this bra. I usually wear a 36, but have been known to buy a 38, especially near the end of a pregnancy. The 36 in this bra fit just fine, but if I lose any more weight (and I will - my baby is only two months old) it might be too big. I already have it on the tightest set of hooks. I'm getting a 34 in the two I'm ordering today.

This and Bella Materna has become my two top favorite nursing bra brand. This bra is fairly pretty (considering it's a nursing bra!) and I love the little "reminder thingy" in the middle that reminds you which side you last nursed on. It's also very supportive and comfy.

5 out of 5 stars The most COMFORTABLE nursing bra ever!   January 9, 2009

I have tried every brand imaginable of nursing bras and this is by far the best. It stays in place and has a nice shape to it. Yeah, you're not going to look like a supermodel wearing it, but there are far uglier bras out there. Worth every cent.

I do recommend at least purchasing one at the store to make sure of the size. The proper size is very important, and varies between brands.

5 out of 5 stars My Favorite Bra   July 3, 2008

This is my all time favorite bra, nursing or no. I wear the 34E, and this is the most supportive nursing bra I have found. It gives incredible lift and shape to an otherwise heavy bust. It is extremely comfortable, I forget that I have it on. The first one I purchased, I wore almost daily for a year with hardly any wear. It was worth every bit of the price.

The only drawback for me is the thinness of the lace cup-- does not hide breast pads as well as a foam cup would. However, the lace does make any outline of a breast pad less notable.

5 out of 5 stars Good All-Around Nursing Bra   December 8, 2007

I've been wearing this bra every day for at least six months. It's comfortable (as long you you normally like underwire bras) and gives a nice shape. It's not a "cleavage bra" but neither is it granny-looking.
It's hard to find a comfy, decent-looking nursing bra that holds up well. It took me a lot of experimenting before finding this bra, and now I stick with this style.
